Our EX-STATIC™ Computer Covers™ are constructed using a light weight, durable conductive fabric which is 87% polyester, 13% gray BASF resistant (carbon) fibers woven right into the fabric in an attractive diamond pattern providing surface resistivity of 105 ohms per square. Conductivity will hold up to 50 or more low heat washings. We’ve chosen this fabric to manufacture our EX-STATIC™ Computer Covers™ as, unlike traditional plastic covers which do not breathe; ours breathe and do not crack.
When our EX-STATIC™ Computer Covers™ are dirty you can wash them rather than disposing of them. Our EX-STATIC™ Computer Covers™ are reasonably priced so you can order two of every size and shape you need so your equipment is still protected and shielded by your secondary cover while your first cover is being washed and dried. |
Our EX-STATIC™ material can also be utilized to create E-field shielding for appliance covers or for room dividers in the form of drapes.
Care Instructions:
Wash in tepid neutral pH solution, mild soap.
Air dry or tumble low heat. May use low heat ironCaution!: Conductive material should NOT come in contact with electrical outlets or live wires. We realize that most folks would not do this but our insurance company told us that we should put this notice on all our literature, online and on packaging.
